IMPROVEMENT 64-20: Mississippi street!rom Silver Lake Road to 24th Ave. NW by: Right-of-way acquisition and opening, street grading, sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, gravel base, bituplinous surfacing and concrete curb & gutter. and the total costs. incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvements amounts to $1,201,135. 35 and of this cost the Village will pay none as its share of the costs. NOW, THER.EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NEW BRIGHTON, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be sPecially assessed is hereby declared to be $1,201, 135. 35. 2. The Village Clerk with the assistance of the Village Engineer shall forthwith calculate the proper amount. to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece grparc,el of long within the district affected, without r,egard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and she shall file a copy of such pro- posed assessment in her office for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of s'Uch proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. AND, WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE VILAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NEW BRIGHTON, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 21st day of October, 1965, in the Village Hall at 7 :30P. M. to pass upon such proposed assessments and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by Such improvements will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to s.uch assessments. 2. The Village Clerk is hereby directed to cause notice of the hearing on such pro- posed assessments to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks "":5- f
