<br /> the interest coupons hereto attached as they severally become due.
<br /> Both principal of and interest on this bond are payable at
<br /> in any coin or currency of the United States of America which at
<br /> the time of payment is legal tender for public and private debts.
<br /> All bonds of this issue maturing in the years 1980 to
<br /> 1982, both inclusive, are subject to redemption and prior payment
<br /> at the option of the Village and in inverse numerical order on
<br /> January 1, 1979 and any interest payment date thereafter at par
<br /> and accrued interest. Thirty days prior notice will be given by
<br /> mail to the bank where the bonds are payable and to the last known
<br /> holder. Holders desiring to receive such notice must register
<br /> their names, addresses and bond numbers with the Village Clerk.
<br /> This bond is one of an issue of bonds in the aggregate
<br /> principal amount of $875,000, all of like date and tenor except
<br /> as to maturity date, interest rate and redemption privilege, all
<br /> issued pursuant to and in full conformity with the Constitution
<br /> and Laws of the State of Minnesota, including Chapter 429,
<br /> Minnesota Statutes, for the purpose of defraying the expenses
<br /> incurred and to be incurred in connection with Village Improvements
<br /> Nos. 64-21, 64-22, 64-23, 65-4, 65-5, 65-6, 65-10, 65-12, 65-13,
<br /> 65-14, 65-15, 65-17, 65-22, 65-24, 65-25, and 65-26, consisting of
<br /> acquisition and improvement of various streets in the Village by
<br /> or with grading, gravel base, bituminous surfacing, concrete curb
<br /> and gutter, sanitary sewers, storm sewers and watermains, and is
<br /> payable primarily from special assessments to be levied against
<br /> property specially benefited thereby from its Improvement Bonds
<br /> of 1965 Fund, but constitutes a general obligation of the Village
<br /> and to provide moneys for the prompt and full payment of said
<br /> principal and interest as the same become due the full faith and
<br /> credit of the Village is hereby irrevocably pledged, and the
<br /> Village will levy ad valorem taxes, if required for such purpose,
<br /> without limitation as to rate or amount.
<br /> IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED AND RECITED That all acts, condi-
<br /> tions and things required by the Constitution and Laws of the
<br /> State of Minnesota to be done, to happen, and to be performed
<br /> precedent to and in the issuance of this bond have been done, have
<br /> happened and have been performed in regular and due form, time
<br /> and manner as required by law; and that this bond, together with
<br /> all other indebtedness of the Village outstanding on the date
<br /> hereof and the date of its actual issuance and delivery, does not
<br /> exceed any constitutional or statutory limitation thereon.
<br /> IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Village of New Brighton, Ramsey
<br /> County, Minnesota, by its Village Council, has caused this bond
<br /> to be executed by the Mayor and the Village Manager and sealed with
<br /> the corporate seal of said Village and the interest coupons thereto
<br /> attached to be executed and authenticated by the facsimile signa-
<br /> tures of said officers, all as of July 1, 1965.
