<br />" ~ <br />1I ''''' <br /> <br />RESOLUTION lm.~?-:g~ <br /> <br />STATE OF FITNNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAJ1iSEY <br />VILLAGE OF l~'l BRIGHTON, l'uNlIJ"ESOT! <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OPPOSING S.F. 470 OR OTHER BIlLS REQUIRING PtfBLIGATION <br />OF .VILLAGE COUNCIL PROCEDINGS. <br /> <br /> <br />~'~S the Village Council of the Village of New Brighton considers this bill <br />not to be in the best interests of its community because its procedings are <br />covered by a newspaper reporter and this coverage more adequately informs the <br />public than printing official procedings which are not read by the general <br />public and <br /> <br />WI-~ZEAS copies of the official minutes are available to general public upon <br />request. <br /> <br />WH.EREAS it has already been mentioned that there is news coverage, it is con- <br />sidered a costly duplication to print the official procedings. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the Village Council of New Brighton be recorded as opposed to <br />the S.F. 470 bill or any other bill requiring publication of Village <br />Council procedings. <br /> <br />2.
