<br /> RESOLUTION VACATING OERTAIN STREETS IN PACKER'S ADDITION TO MINNEAPOLIS
<br /> STOCKY.ARDS AND WEST END ANNEX IN THE VILLAGE OF NEllI BRIGHTON
<br /> WHEREAS, a petition of a majority of the vwners of land abutting on the
<br /> streets hereinafter described have petitioned for their vacation, and pursuant
<br /> thereto notice of a public hearing the~e0n was duly published in the official
<br /> newspaper andsuch notice was duly posted according to law,
<br /> AIID WHEREAS, said public hearing was duly held on September 28, 1965, at
<br /> which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be
<br /> heard thereon, and there being no objection, and it appearing in the best
<br /> interest$ of the Village and the surrounding property owners;
<br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of
<br /> New Brighton that the following described streets in the Village of New
<br /> Brighton be and are hereby vacated:
<br /> 1. All streets within the recorded plat of Packer's Addition to Minneapolis
<br /> Stockyards, net previeusly vacated, according to the plat on file or 0f
<br /> record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for Ramsey County,
<br /> Minnesota, except that part of said streets lying within 30 feet on either'
<br /> side of the North line of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of the
<br /> Northeast 1/4 of Section 19, Township 30 North, Range 23 West, also
<br /> except the South 30 feet ef the Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of said
<br /> Section 19, also except that adjacent to Blocks 3 and 4 of said
<br /> Packerrs Addition to Minneapolis Stockyards, the affected portions
<br /> of the vacated streets being more particularly described as follows:
<br /> a. That portion of 23rdAvenue N.W. (formerly Lakeview ,Avenue)
<br /> from the North line of 15th Street N.W. (formerly Oak Street)
<br /> to the North line of Packer's Addition to Minneapolis Stockyards
<br /> between Blocks 1, 2, 5 and 6 thereof except for so much of said
<br /> 23rd Avenue N.W. as is presently dedicated and shown as 23rd
<br /> Avenue N.W. on the plat of Pike Lake Estates according to the
<br /> plat thereof on file or of record in the office of the
<br /> Registrar of Titles in and for Ramsey County, Minnesota';
<br /> b. 16th Avenue N.W. (formerly Summit Avenue ) from the inter-
<br /> section with the easterly line of 23rd Avenue N.W. (formerly
<br /> LakeviewAvenue) to the intersection with the Westerly line of
<br /> 21st Avenue N.W. (formerly 1st Avenue) as shown on the plat
<br /> of Packer's Addition to Ninneapolis Stockyards, according to
<br /> the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the
<br /> Register of Deeds in and for Ramsey County, Minnesota.
<br /> c. That part of 15th Street N.W. (formerly Oak Street) lying
<br /> South ()f a line 30 feet South and parallel with the North line
<br /> of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4
<br /> of Section 19, Township 30 North, Range 23 West, and adjacent
<br /> to Lets 29 and 30, Block 11, Lots 1,2, 28 and 29, Block 12,
<br /> all in Packer's Addition to Minneapolis Stockyards, according
<br /> to the plat thereof on file or of record in the office of the
<br /> Register of Deeds in and for Ramsey County, ~linnesota.
