I I <br /> , .'" , I <br /> year in accordance with and upon presentation and surrender of the <br /> interest coupons hereto attached as they severally become due <br /> Both principal of and interest on this bond are payable at <br /> in any coin or currency of the United States of America which at <br /> the time of payment is legal tender for public and private debts. <br /> All bonds of this issue maturing in the years 1979 to <br /> 1981, both inclusive, are subject to redemption and prior payment <br /> at the option of the Village and in inverse numerical order on <br /> April 1, 1978 and any interest payment date thereafter at par and <br /> accrued interest. Thirty days' prior notice will be given by mail <br /> to the bank where the bonds are payable and to the last known <br /> holder. Holders desiring to receive such notice must register their <br /> names, addresses and bond numbers with the Village Clerk. <br /> This bond is one of an issue of bonds in the aggregate <br /> principal amount of $266,000, all of like date and tenor except as <br /> to maturity date, interest rate, denomination and redemption <br /> privilege, all issued pursuant to and in full conformity with the <br /> Constitution and Laws of the State of Minnesota, including Chapter <br /> 429, Minnesota Statutes, for the purpose of defraying the expenses <br /> incurred and refunding temporary improvement bonds issued in <br /> connection with Projects 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 of Improvement No. <br /> 63-10 of the Village, consisting of acquisition and improvement of <br /> various streets in the Village by or with grading, gravel base, <br /> bituminous surfacing, concrete curb and gutter, sanitary sewers, <br /> storm sewers and watermains, and is payable primarily from special <br /> assessments to be co~lected fromproperty specially benefited <br /> thereby from its Improvement Bonde of 1966 Fund, but constitutes <br /> a general obligation of the Villag~and to provide moneys for the <br /> prompt and full payment of said principal and interest as the same <br /> become due the full faith and credit of the Village is hereby <br /> irrevocably pledged, and the Village will levy ad valorem taxes, <br /> if required for such purpose, without limitation as to rate or <br /> amount. <br /> IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED AND RECITED That all acts, condi- <br /> tions and things required by the Constitution and Laws of the State <br /> of Minnesota to be done, to happen, and to be performed precedent <br /> to and in the issuance of this bond have been done, have happened <br /> and have been performed in regular and due form, time and manner <br /> as required by law; and that this bond, together with all other <br /> indebtedness of the Village outstanding on the date hereof and the <br /> date of its actual issuance and delivery, does not exceed any <br /> constitutional or statutory limitation thereon. <br /> IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Village of New Brighton, Ramsey <br /> County, Minnesota, by its Village Council, has caused this bond to <br /> be executed by the Mayor and the Village Manager and sealed with the <br /> corporate seal of said Village and the interest coupons thereto <br /> attached to be executed and authenticated by the facsimile signatures <br /> of said officers, all as of April 1, 1966. <br /> Mayor <br /> Village Manager <br /> (Seal) <br />
