<br />. . <br /> - <br /> ; , "' <br /> . -. <br /> ~ <br /> . <br /> - " <br />. <br /> AGREEMENT FOR JOINT MUNICIPAL BASE RADIO STATION <br />THIS AGREEMENT DATED this 25th day of April , 1966, <br />by and between the VILLAGE OF NEW BRIGHTON, MINNESOTA, hereinafter called <br />first party and VILLAGE OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA, hereinafter called <br />second party. <br /> WITNESSETH: <br />(1) That first party and second party hereby agree and contract <br />with each other, in consideration of the mutual covenants and promises <br />hereinafter set forth, to establish and maintain a joint Base Radio <br />Transmitting and Receiving Station to operate on a federally assigned <br />Local Government Radio Frequency. <br />(2) That the Base Station shall be located in the Village of New <br />Brighton Municipal Building, 803 5th Avenue N.W., New Brighton, Minnesota. <br />(3) That the entire costs of purchasing, installing, replacing, <br />repairing, maintaining and adding to the necessary equipment for such <br />Base Station shall be shared and paid by the first and second party equally. <br />(4) That first party shall order necessary maintenance, repairs <br />and services required for such Base Station, but shall advise second <br />party and obtain approval of second party when the contemplated expenditure <br />will exceed $100.00. Such consultation with approval by second party <br />shall not be required in event of an emergency. First party shall then <br />bill second party for its share of such cost and shall furnish second <br />party, with the bill, copies of all invoices for such costs. <br />(5) That first party shall furnish at the Base Station a radio <br />dispatcher during regular operating hours which shall be from 8:30 A.M. <br />to 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays. <br />(6) That first party reserves the right to operate the Base Station <br />at other than regular operating hours. <br />(7) That second party may use the Base Station at other than regular <br />operating hours, but any such use shall be by a dispatcher furnished by <br />first party, shall be ordered by the Chief of Police of second party, and <br />second party shall pay to first party the actual cost of such extra operation. <br /> -1- <br />
