Both <br /> principal and interest are payable at the main office of <br /> in any coin or currency of the United States of America which at the <br /> time of payment is legal tender for public and private debts, and for <br /> the prompt and full payment of such principal and interest as the <br /> same become due the full fai th, credit and taxing powers of the Vil- <br /> lage have been and are hereby irrevocably pledged. <br /> All bonds of this issue maturing in the years 1982 to 1997, <br /> both inclusive, are subject to redemption at the .option of the Village <br /> and in the inverse numerical order on April 1, 1981 and any interest pay- <br /> ment date thereafter at a price of par and accrued interest. Thirty <br /> days' prior notice of redemption will be given by mail to the bank <br /> where the bonds are payable and to the last known holder, and published <br /> notice of redemption will be given in the manner provided by Minnesota <br /> Statutes, Chaper 475. <br /> This bond is one of an issue of general obligation bonds in the <br /> aggregate principal amount of $1,000,000, all of liKe date and tenor <br /> except as to maturity, interest rate and redemption privilege, issued <br /> by the Village for the purpose of providing money for sewage disposal <br /> facilities pursuant to Section 444,075, Minnesota Statutes, and payable <br /> primarily from special assessments to be levied for a local sanitary <br /> sewer interceptor improvement included among such facilities and from <br /> charges for the use and availability of sewer and water facilities of <br /> the Village and for connections therewith, the net revenues from which <br /> assessments and charges the Village has pledged to the payment of <br /> principal and interest of the bonds, and similar obligations issued <br /> or to be issued by the Village, within the meaning of such statute. <br /> IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED AND RECITED That the Village has <br /> covenanted and does hereby covenant to impose and collect charges of <br /> the nature authorized by said Section 444.075 at the times and in the <br /> amounts required to produce, together with pledged special assessments <br /> and taxes, net revenues adequate to pay all such principal and interest <br /> when due; that the Village has by ordinance established rates and charges <br /> estimated to be sufficient to produce such net revenues; that all acts, <br /> conditions and things required by the Constitution and Laws of the State <br /> of Minnesota to be done, to happen and to be performed precedent to <br /> and in the issuance of this bond have been done, have happened and have <br /> been performed in regular and due form, time and manner as required by <br /> lawi and that this bond, together with all other indebtedness optstanding, <br /> does not exceed any constitutional or statutory limitation of indebtedness. <br /> IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Village of New Brighton, Ramsey <br /> County, Minnesota by its Village Council, has caused this bond to be <br /> executed in its behalf by the Mayor and the Village Manager and <br /> sealed with the corporate seal of the Village, and the interest <br /> coupons hereto attached to be executed and authenticated by the <br /> facsimile signatures of said officers, all as of October 1, 1967. <br /> Mayor <br /> Village Manager <br /> (Seal) <br />
