<br />~ , ,.~ '.... <br />. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 461 <br /> VILLAGE OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY: <br /> StATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMEm ON IMPROVEMENT" 66-27 <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the VUlage Council of the Village ot New Brighton, <br /> Minnesota as follows: <br /> . <br />WHEREAS; pursuant to proper notice duq given as required by law <br /> the Village Council has met and heard and passed upon all <br /> objections to the proposed assessment for the Improvement <br /> oft <br /> . <br /> Storm. Sewer and ponding areas in SW 1/4 of SE <br /> 1/4 Section 19-30-23 <br /> by: " <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NEW BRIGHTON, MINN. <br />1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of whiah is attached hereto and made <br />a parD hereof, is hereby accepted and shall consitute the special assess- <br />ment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein <br />included is hereby found to be benefited by the proposed improvement in <br />the amount ot the assessment levied against it. <br />2. Sueh assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extendir:,g <br />over a period of fifteen (15) years, the first of the annual installments <br />to be payable on or before the first Monday in January, 1968 ,and <br />shall bear interest at the rate of six percent (6%) per annum from the <br />date of the adoption of this assessment resolution until December 31,~, <br />to each subsequent installment wen due Shall be added interest for one <br />(1) year on all unpaid installments. .. <br />3. The Owner ot any property so assessed may, a t any time prior to <br />certification of the assessment to the county auditor, pay the whole of <br />the assessment on such property, with interest acorued to the date of <br />payment, to the Village Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charge:l <br />it the entire assessment is paid wi thin 30 daya from the adoption of this <br />resolution; and he may, at any time thereafter, pay to the county treasurer <br />the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid with interest accr.ued <br />to December 31 of the year in whioh such payment is made. <br />4. The clerk shall forthwith transmit a c~rtitied duplicate of this <br />assessment to the county auditor to be extended on the proper tax lists of <br />the county, and such assessments shall be collected and. paid over in the <br />same manner as other municipal taxes. <br />Adopted by the Village Counoil this 14th daY' of September, 1967 . <br /> j)~tl~ <br /> Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />. d..~J2"Ai. ~ <br />'1illage Clerk <br />
