RESOLUT!ON NO. 457 <br /> <br />VILLAGE OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />StATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON IMPROVEMENT 65-4 <br /> <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED b1' the Village Cmmci1 of the Village of New Brighton, <br />Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />WHEREAS; pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law <br />the Village Council Me met and heard a11d passed upon all <br />ob~ections to the proposed assessment tor'the Improvement <br />of': <br />16th st. N. W. from 27th Ave. N. W. to Silver Lake Rd. <br />26th Ave. N. W. from l5A St. N. W. to 16th st. N. loT. <br /> <br /> <br />Acquisition of right-of-way, grading, gravel base, <br />by: sanitary sewer, waterrnain, storm sewer"b;i.tuminous <br />surfacing, concrete curb & gutter. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NEW BRIGHTON, MINN. <br /> <br />1. Such proposed assessment, a copy ot' which is attached hereto and made <br />a par~ hereof, is hereby accepted and shall consitute the special assess- <br />ment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein <br />included is hereby found to be benefited by the proposed improvement in <br />the amount of' the assessment levied against it. <br /> <br />2. SuCth assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extendir.,g <br />over a period of fifteen (15) years, the first of the annual installments <br />to be payable on or before the first Monday in January, 1968, and <br />shall bear interest at the rate of six peroent (6%) per annum from the <br />date of the adoption of this assessment resolution until Deoember 31,..!!L-.., <br />to each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest for one <br />(1) year on all unpaid installments. <br /> <br />J. The OWner of any propertY' so assessed may, at any time prior to <br />oertifioation of' the assessment to the county auditor, pay the whole of <br />the assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the date of' <br />payment, to the Village Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged <br />if the entire assessment is paid within .30 days from the adoption of this <br />resolution; and he may, at any time thereafter, pay to the county treasurer <br />the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid with interest accr.ued <br />to December .31 of the year in which such payment is made. <br /> <br />4.
