<br />.. <br />.. ..- <br />. 456 .I -.... <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> VILLAGE OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> StATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENt' ON IMPROVEMENT 66-25 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Councu of the Village of New Brighton, <br /> Minnesota as follows: <br /> WHEREAS; pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law <br /> tJ1e Village Council has met and heard and passed upon all <br /> objections to the proposed assessment for the Improvement <br /> ot: <br /> 21st Ave. N. W. from 16th St. N. W. to l6A st. N. W. <br /> 20th Ave. N. W. from l6A St. N. W. to 17th Ave. N. W. <br /> l6A St. N. W. from 20th Ave. N. W. to 21st Ave. N. \-1. <br /> 17th St. N. W. from 23rd Ave. N. 1'1. to 20th Ave. N. ti. <br /> by. Acquisition of right-of-way, grading, gravel base, <br /> sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer,- ,bituminous <br /> surfacing, concrete curb & gutter. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NEw BRIGHTON, MINN" <br /> 1. Such proposed assessment, a oopy of which is attached hereto and made <br /> a parD hereof, is hereby accepted and shall consitute the special assess- <br /> ment against the lands named therein,. and each tract of land therein <br /> included is hereby found to be benefited by the proposed improvement in <br /> the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br /> 2. Sueh assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending <br /> over a period of fifteen (15) years, the first of the annual installments <br /> to be payable on or before the first Monday in January, 1968 ,and <br /> shall bear interest at the rate of six percent (6%) per annum from the <br /> date of the adoption ot this assessment resolution until December 31,.!!L..-., <br /> to each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest fOr one <br /> (1) year on all unpaid installments. <br /> 3. The Owner of any property so assessed may , a t anytime prior to <br /> certification of the assessment to the county auditor, pay the whole of <br /> the assessment on suoh property, with interest accrued to, the date of <br /> payment, to the Village Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged <br /> if the entire assessment is paid wi. thin 30 days from the adoption of this <br /> resolution; and he may, at any time thereafter, pay to the county treasurer <br /> the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid with interest acc-r.ued <br /> to December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. <br /> 4.
