<br />;, "- <br /> RESOLtrrION NO. 454 ". ..,...... <br /> VILLAGE OF Nml BRIGHTON <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE 'OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION ADottING ASSESSMENT ON IMPROVEMENT 66-21 <br />BE IT RESOLVED by' the Village Council of' the Village of New Brighton, <br /> Minnesota as follows: <br />WHEREAS; pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law <br /> the Village Council has Jl1et and heard and passed upon all <br /> objections to the pt-opOsed assessment for the Improvement <br /> of: <br /> N. Pike Lake Court from 14th st. tocul de sac <br /> ~Acquisition of right-of-way, grading, gravel base, <br /> s 'tary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, bituminous <br /> surfacing, concrete curb & gutter. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NEW BRIGHTON, MINN. <br />1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of' which is attached hereto and made <br />a par:b hereof', is hereby accepted and shall consitute the special assess- <br />ment against the lands named therein, and eaoh tract of land therein <br />included is hereby found to be benetited by the proposed improvement in <br />the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br />2. Sueh assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extendir,g <br />over a period of fifteen (15) years, the first of the annual installments <br />to be payable on or before the first Monday in January, :J. 968 ,and <br />shall bear interest at the rate of six percent (6%) per annum from the <br />date of the adoption of this assessment resolution until December 31,-21-" <br />to each subsequent installment 'When due shall be added interest for one <br />(1) year on all unpaid installments. <br />3. The Owner of any property so assessed may, at any: time prior to <br />certifioation of the assessment to the oounty auditor, pay the whole of <br />the assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the date of <br />payment, to the Village Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charge:! <br />if the, entire assessment is paid within 30 days fram the adoption of this <br />resolution; and he may, at any time thereafter, pay to the county treasurer <br />the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid with interest accr.ued <br />to December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. ' <br />4. The clerk shall forthwith transmit a certifilad duplicate of this <br />assessment to the count, auditor to be extended on the proper tax lists of <br />the county, and such assessments shall be col1eoted and paid over in the <br />same manner as other municipal taxes. <br />Adopted by- the Village Council this 14th day of September, 1967 . <br /> d~jJ(i'u~ <br /> Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />}1A~j}~ <br />Village Clerk <br />
