'.: ,~.' <br />and the following were absent: None <br />Mayor Anderson announced that bids submitted for $750,000 Temporary Bonds of <br />1968 had been tabulated by administration and found to be correct. <br />After'due consideration of all bids, Councilman Moen introduced the <br />following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING SALE OF $750,000 <br /> TEMPORARY llJllROVEMENT BONDS OF 1968 <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the, Village of New Brighton, <br />as follows: <br /> " <br />1. The bid of Northwestern National Bank of Minneapolis andEbin <br />Robertson & C~pany.,to purchase $'750,000 Temporary Improvement Bonds of 1968, <br />on the terms set forth ~n the notice of sale is hereby determined to be the <br />best bid and is hereby accepted, and the Mayor and Village lvan~ger are hereby <br />authorized and directed to execute a contract with the:-successful bidder and <br />. the Treasurer is instructed to return the good faith checks of all unsuccessful <br />, bidder s f orthwi th . <br />2. The form of such bonds and the interest coupons to be thereto <br />attached, which form is before this meeting, is hereby approved and the <br />Manager is authorized to cause to be prepared bonds in such form and in the <br />..denominations and identifying the bank of payment specified by the successful <br />': bidder. <br />3. The Village Council shall meet on Tuesday, the 14tb day of <br />May, 1968 at 8:00 o'clock P.M., for the purpose of adopting a final resolution <br />specifying. all terms of the bonds, identifying the bond form, providing funds <br />for their payment and authGrizing and ratifying action necessary for their <br />execution and delivery. <br />Xhe motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilman Nesser and upon vote being taken thereon the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br />Anderson, Jeffers, Moen, Nesser and Romanski <br />and the following voted against the same: None <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> . <br />
