' <br /> * * * <br /> After due consideration of all bids for both seri~s of <br />bonds, Councilman Moen introduced the following <br />resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 680 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING SALE OF $7l4,OOO PARK BONDS <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of <br />New Brighton, as follows: <br /> l. The bid of <br /> The First National Bank of St. Paul <br />to purchase $7l4,OOO Park Bonds on the terms set forth in the notice <br />of sale is hereby determined to be the best bid and to provide an <br />averag~ annual rate of interest' (including as interest the principal <br />of-bonds ~aturing in 1971) not exceeding 7% per annum on the bonds <br />maturing in 1972 and thereafter, and said bid is hereby accepted. <br /> 2. The Mayor and Village Manager are hereby authorized <br />and directed to execute a contract with the successful bidder and <br />the Treasurer to return the good faith checks of all unsuccessful <br />bidders forthwith. <br /> 3. The form of such bonds and the interest coupons to <br />be thereto attached, which forms are before this meeting, are <br />hereby approved and the Manager is authorized to cause to be <br />prepared bonds in such form in the denominations and identifying <br />the bank of payment specified by the successful bidder. <br /> 4. The Village Council shall meet on Tuesday , the <br />l3thday of May , 1969 at 8:00 o'clock P.M. , for the purpose <br />of adopting final resolutions specifying all terms of the bonds, <br />identifying the bond form, providing funds for their payment and <br />authorizing and ratifying action necessary for their execution <br />and delivery. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution <br />was duly seconded by Councilman Rebelein and upon vote <br />being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Anderson, Moen, Rebelein and Romanski <br />and, the,; f01,10:w:tng..'voted against the same: None <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
