<br /> r <br /> 1 .REpOLU~J:QN NO. 819 '0 <br /> . <br /> ...." <br /> - - <br /> . , <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COuNTY'9F RAMSEY, . <br /> VILLAGE OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING RESTRICTIVE DAYS AND HOURS FOR THE <br /> SPRINI<L!NG AND WATERING OF YARDS AND GARDENS USING WATER FROM <br /> THE MUNICIPAL WATER SYSTEM <br /> WHEREAS Section 280.64 o~ the New Brighton Village Code <br /> empower~ the village Council to e~tab1ish regulations limiting <br /> sprinkling and watering, and <br /> WHEREAS it appears that the New Brighton municipal water <br /> system is inadequate to meet unlimited sprinkling and watering <br /> demands <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the <br /> Village of New Brighton as follows: <br /> Use of water from the municipal water system for the sprinkling <br /> and watering of yards and gardens is hereby prohibited throughout <br /> the village between the hours of 12 noon and 6 p.m. Watering and <br /> sprinkling during other hours of each day is prohibited except on <br /> days speci~ically permitted in Subdivisions 1 through 3. <br /> r 1. Schools, churches and all lands developed with apartment <br /> buildings, townhouse complexes, or groups of residential buildings <br /> '. having grounds used in common by the several residents therein, <br /> may water on days specifically designated and assigned to such <br /> developments by the Director of Public Works. Such assignment <br /> shall be in writing and shall permit sprinkling within the hours <br /> designated in this resolution and on approximately 50 per cent of <br /> the dayS. <br /> 2. Except for properties included in Subdivision 1, all <br /> lands developed with structures carrying thereon street numbers <br /> wherein the last digit is even, may water or sprinkle yards and <br /> garden~ on even numbered days only. Except for properties <br /> included in Subdivision 1, all lands developed with structures <br /> .carrying thereon street numbers wherein the last digit is odd may <br /> water or sprinkle yards and gardens on odd numbered days only. <br /> 3. All lands not being inclUded in the categories described <br /> in Subdivision 1 or Subdivision 2 herein may water on odd numbered <br /> dq,Y~ only. <br /> The Village Clerk is hereby directed to cause publication of this <br /> ;r resolution once in the official newspaper. <br /> 'Passed this 12th day of May, 1970.
