<br /> ; , ;;. ~, <br />-<< ...... , <br /> . <br /> ,'".:"~ R.SSOLt.l"'J!I~~ ,NO. 795'" <br /> ,.,,-' STATE OF, ,MINNSSOTAt <br /> , ' .... .' ~,'~r ..' .., <br /> COUNTY OPRAiMSEY' <br /> VILLAGE OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTIO!-'J DECLARING MORATORIUM ON THE ISSUANCE OF BUILDING PERMIT~i <br />FOR DWELLINGS EXCEPT SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED DWELLINGS. <br /> WHEREAS the New Brighton Planning Commission has submitted to <br />the New Brighton Village Council a series of proposed amenqments <br />to the Zoning Code; and <br /> WHEREAS the proposed amendments will result in modifications <br />to current ordinance requirements relating to dwellings other than <br />single family detacl1ed dwellings, and <br /> WHEREAS the Village council deems it necessary for the public <br />'health, safety and welfare that proper considerat~on be given to <br />the proposed amendments, and <br /> WliEREAS proper consideration will require the careful <br />examination of the proposed ordinance amendments by the village <br />Council, and <br /> WHEREAS any dwelling permit, other than single family <br />detached dwellings., issuance during the period of proposed ordinance <br />amendments would be disruptive to the orderly development of the <br />village <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the New Brighton Village <br />Council orders that no building permits be issued for the <br />construction of any dwellings, except single family detached <br />dwellings, as defined by ordinance 188, until June 23, 1970, or <br />until such proposed amendments are adopted or rejected, whichever <br />bccurs first. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That building permits for approved <br />Planned Residential Developments be exempt flOlOm the foregoing <br />prohibitions. <br />Adopted this 24th day of March, 1970. <br />ATTEST: ~&~LCbv <br /> - <br /> Bromander, Mayor <br />~/2~~ <br />Vernon Pederson, CJ.,eJ:'~ <br /> " .~;~ ,; <br /> 1'" <br />( SEAL) .l "; <br /> - .;.
