<br />, ,I <br />,,1 <br /> <br />! <br /> <br />II <br />! , <br /> <br />.,; <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 03-021 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RESTRICTING PARKING ON MUNICIPAL STATE AID ROUTES <br />47-130-040, 5TH STREET NW BETWEEN 12TH AVENUE NW AND 10TH A VENUE <br />NW AND 147-103-050, 5TH STREET NW BETWEEN 10TH A VNEU NW AND OLD <br />HIGHW A Y 8 NW (CSAH 77), AND ALSO ON 5TH STREET NW BETWEEN 13TH <br />A VENUE NW AND 12TH A VENUE NW, A LOCAL STREET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of New Brighton has planned the improvement of 5th Street NW <br />between 13th Avenue NW and Old Highway 8 NW, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of New Brighton will be expending Municipal State Aid Funds on the <br />improvement of said street between 12th Avenue NW and Old Highway 8 NW which is <br />designated a Municipal State Aid street, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, 5th Street NW between 13th Avenue NW and 12th Avenue NW is designated a <br />local street and does not qualify for Municipal State Aid Funding, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this improvement does not provide for adequate width for parking on both sides <br />of the street; and approval of the proposed construction as a Municipal State Aid Street <br />project must therefore be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of New Brighton <br />hereby bans parking on the south side of 5th Street NW between 13th Avenue NW and Old <br />Highway 8 NW at all times. <br /> <br />Adopted this 11 th day of March, 2003. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />\\ . <br />'J\\~~~l\ <br /> <br />Steve Larson, Mayor <br /> <br />7 '~./". d' <br />i;;i1-Z"'?C."t~- it'. )4~(d{{~[ ? <br /> <br />Dan Maiers <br />Director of Finance and Support Services <br /> <br />~~~n, City Manager <br /> <br />(Seal) <br />
