<br /> ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS ON CONTRACT "A" 1971 IMPROVEMENTS 71-3, 16,
<br /> 18 AND 19 AND CONTRACT "B" IMPROVEMENTS 70-4 AND 8~ 71-4 AND 11

<br /> WHeREAS pursuant to a resolution passed by the Village Council,
<br /> . I
<br /> the village Consulting Engineer, Milner W. Carley and Associates,
<br /> hasi,prepared plans and specifications for the improvements known
<br /> 'as Contract"A" Improvements 71-3, 16, as and 19 ~nd Contract liB"
<br /> rmpro.vements 70-4 and 8: 71-4 and 11 and has presented such plans
<br /> and speCifications to the Council for approval
<br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of
<br /> NeW Brighton, Minnesota
<br /> , 1. Such plans and specifications are hereby approved.
<br /> 2. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be
<br /> inserted
<br /> in the offici~l paper and in the Construction Bulletin an,
<br /> advertisement for bids upon the making Of such improvements under
<br /> such approved plans and specifications. The advertisements shall
<br /> be published for three (3) weeks, shall specify the work to be
<br /> done, shall state that bids will be opened in Council Chambers by
<br /> Village Administration at 2:00 P.M., CDT, May 6, 1971 and
<br /> cO]:'lsidered by the Council at S:OO P.M., CDT, May 11, 1971 in the
<br /> Council Chambers of the Village Hall, and that no bids will be
<br /> considered unless sealed and filed with the clerk and accompanied
<br /> by a bid bond or certified check payable to the village of New
<br /> Brighton for five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid.
<br /> Adopted by the Council this 13th day of April, 1971.
