HIGH SCHOOL AND PROVIDING FOR TRANSFER <br /> (iF FUNDS FROM CONTINGENCY ACCOUNT TO BUILDING AND IMPROVEMENT <br /> t. CCOUNT WITHIN THE PARK DEPARTMENT TO FUND SUCH AGREEMENT <br /> WHEREAS the Village of New Brighton and Independent School <br /> l)istrict 621 deem it desirable and in the best interests of the <br /> citizens of the Village of New Brighton and that thettwo govern- <br /> I:.ental subdivisions cooperate 'in the joint use, operation and <br /> I:.aintenance of ice skating facilities a tHighview Jr. High School <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The mayor and manager are hereby authorized and directed <br /> to execute on behalf of the Village of New Brighton a <br /> joint powers agreement between the Village of New <br /> Brighton and Independent School District 621, a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> 2. That to provide funds for the cost of installing exteriox' <br /> lighting pursuant to said agreement, it is hereby ordered <br /> that the sum of $3,000 be transferred from the <br /> contingency account to the bu~lding and improvement <br /> account within the Park Department <br /> lldopted this 24th day of October, 1972 <br /> l\TTEST: <br /> .~ &J)j)~ <br /> \'ernon C.
