<br /> ., <br /> 1 <br /> "'II ....- - 'J <br /> 1 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1099 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> VILLAGE OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> RESOLUTION EXTENDING MORATORIUM ON THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS FOR <br /> THE CONSTRUCTION OF SIGNS WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> WHEREAS Resolution 1045 adopted February 8, 1972, declared <br /> a moratorium on the issuance of sign permits for 90 days or <br /> until the section of the zoning code relating to signs had been <br /> amended and corrected, and <br /> WHEREAS Resolution 1065 adopted April 25, 1972, extended the <br /> sign moratorium until August 8, 1972, and <br /> WHEREAS the problems outlined in Resolution 1045 are being <br /> actively worked on but are not yet resolved <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village <br /> of New Brighton as follows: <br /> 1. The moratorium on the issuance of sign permits be <br /> extended until November 14, 1972 or until the section <br /> of the zoning code relating to signs has beendamended and <br /> corrected, whichever shall be first <br /> 2. That in specific instances and upon special consideration <br /> by the Village Council an application for a sign permit <br /> may be granted if it can be shown that it is clearly <br /> authorized by the ordinance and its authorization does <br /> not fall within an area of potential confusion, <br /> misinterpretation, or conflict of the ordinance as it <br /> is now written, if it is shown to the satisfaction of <br /> the Council that a hardship would exist if such permit <br /> were delayed <br /> Adopted this 8th day of August 1972. <br /> ~ ./ <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> ~ 8.~9~ <br /> Vernon C.
