<br /> WHEREAS Se(::tion 740: 05 of the New Brighton Village Code sta't,en
<br /> that t:heVil1~ge Council shall designate stop streets by resolution,
<br /> and
<br /> WHEREAS various citizens have requested that Village Council
<br /> order the' 'inst'allation of stop signs on 5th Street N .W. and
<br /> various'inte~secting streets, and
<br /> ,'WHEREAS after'- investigation the Council has determined that
<br /> a safety problem is indeed,evident in the above stated avenues
<br /> NOW, THER$FORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of
<br /> New Brighton as follows:
<br /> 1. ' That stop signs be installed on 9th Avenue, 10th Avenue,
<br /> 11th" Avenue, 12th Avenue and 13th Avenue where they
<br /> intersect 5th Street N.W.
<br /> 2. That "stop sighs be.- installed on 5th Street N ..W. where it
<br /> intersects with 9th Avenue N.W. and 12th Avenue N.W.
<br /> 3. ~at a stop sign be installed at the exit of the Hansen
<br /> park road where it enters 16th Avenue N.W. and 5th Street
