<br /> ..rater distribt;ttion plan of the Village, should be enlarged at the

<br /> WHEREAS the permits which allow the Village to use County
<br /> "-:Xld State righ1::of way for utilities requires such relocation to
<br /> , ::ie' at Village expense, and
<br />. . , ~' WHEREAs~uchrelocation and enlarging work can be perfo~ed
<br /> ost efficiently and economically under the County construction

<br /> WHEREAS the state of Minnesota advises that the cost of
<br /> :uch required water pipe relocation and enlargin9 is eligi'ble for
<br /> ';: t,ate Aid construction funds
<br /> NOW THERE,FORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the New Brighton Village
<br /> (ouncil as follOWs.
<br /> !,. That the necessary relocation and, enlargement of water-
<br /> 'I:ains on Old ,Highway Eight from County Road D north to 50 feet
<br /> , ~~ .northof Sixth Street S.W. and ,on County Road D from 200 feet ~
<br /> ~i est of Old Trunk Highway Eight to 100 feet + east of Long Lake
<br /> 'ioad be hereby ordered at an estimated cost of $25,000.
<br /> 2." ,That the Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and
<br /> (:-irected to execute on behalf of the VilJa. ge of New Brighton with
<br /> l'amsey Coun-'ty a. joint powers ag-reement to have such work performed
<br /> 1 nder a contract to be awarded by Ramsey Coilnty.
<br /> 3. ,That application for,State Aid Funds to finance such
<br /> ',ark be made. to the State of Minnesota.
