" .~ <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1221 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> VILLAGE OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING RESTRICTIVE DAYS AND HOURS FOR THE <br /> SPRINKLING AND WATERING OF YARDS AND GARDENS USINGe WATER FROM THE <br /> MUNICIPAL WATER SYSTEM <br />WHEREAS Section 280.64 of the New Brighton Village Code <br /> empowers the village Council to establish regulations limiting <br /> sprinkling and watering, and <br />WHEREAS it appears that the New Brighton municipal water <br /> system is inadequate to meet unlimited sprinkling and watering <br /> demands <br />NOW THERE~ORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village council of the <br /> Villag,e of New Brighton as follows: <br />Use of water from the municipal water system for the <br /> sprinkling and watering of yards and gardens, shrubbery, etc. is <br /> hereby prohibited throughout the Village between the hours of <br /> 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Watering and sprinkling during the hours <br /> of 6:00 p~m. and 10:00 p.m. of each day is prohibited except on <br /> days specifically permitted in Subdivisions 1 through 4. <br />1. 'Schools, churches, and all lands developed with <br /> apartment buildings, townhouse complexes, .or groups of <br /> residential buildings having grounds used in common by <br /> the several residents therein, may water on days <br /> specifically designated and assigned to such developments <br /> by the Director of Public Works. Such assignment shall <br /> be in writing and shall permit sprinkling within the hourH <br /> designated in this resolution and on approximately 50 per~ <br /> cent of the days. <br />2. Except for properties included in SUbdivision 1, all land~; <br /> developed with structures carrying thereon street <br /> numbers wherein the last digit is even, may water or <br /> sprinkle .yards, apdgard,ens on"eVen numbered days only. <br /> Except ~or Ptopert.ie~ included ~n SUbdivision 1, all <br /> lands deveJdped wit.h structures ca:-rrying thereon street <br /> nUmb~s wherein the last digit i".s.. ,Qdd, );nay water or <br /> sprlnlk'le yards and gardens ohadd' Jh"bered days only. <br /> .
