'" <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1392 <br /> STATEuOF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON IMPROVEMENT 72-11 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New <br /> Brighton, Minnesota as follows: <br /> WHEREAS pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by <br /> law the city council has met and heard and passed upon all <br /> objections to the proposed assessment for the improvement of: <br /> 6th Avenue N.W. from 6th Street to north side County Road <br /> 77 (Old Hwy 8) <br /> By: Acquisition of utility easements, watermain <br /> NOW THEREFORE aE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of New <br /> Brighton, Minnesota: <br /> 1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached <br /> , hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall <br /> constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein, <br /> and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be <br /> benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of the <br /> assessment levied against it. <br /> 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual install~ <br /> ments extending over a period of fifteen (15) years, the first of <br /> the installments to be payable on or after the first Monday in <br /> January 1975, and shall bear interest at the rate of eight percent <br /> (8%) per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment <br /> resolution until December 31, 1975, to each subsequent install- <br /> ment when due'shall pe added interest for one '(1) year on all <br /> unpaid installments. <br /> 3. The owner of any property $0 assessed may, at any time <br /> prior to certification of the assessment to ~he county auditor, pay <br /> the whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued <br /> to the date of payment, to the City Treasurer, except that no <br /> interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within <br /> 30 days rrom the adoption of this resolution and he may, at any tin:e <br /> thereafter, pay to the county treasurer, and the balance of the <br /> assessments remaining:u:qpaid to the City Treasurer with interest <br /> accrued in accordance with the status such in case made and provided. <br /> 4. The clerk slB 11 forthwith transmit a certified duplicate <br /> of this assessment to the county auditor to be extended on the <br /> proper tax list of the county, and such assessments shall be col- <br /> lected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes. <br /> Adopted this 8th day of August, 1974. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> . f<~~~ <br /> \(L: '1'(- <br /> -", . ., <br /> Vernom'1, c.
