<br />.. ~:.c__.. - ~ . - .. <br /> RESO]C,UTION NO. 1414 <br /> STA'rE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON IMPROVEMENT 72-12 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New <br />Brighton, Minnesota as follows: <br /> WHEREAS pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by <br />law the city council has met and heard and passed upon all <br />objections to the proposed assessment for the improvement of: <br /> Location: Woodland Hills Townhouse Development, North side <br /> County Road "E" at approximately 29th Avenue N.W. <br /> By: Sanitary Sewer, watermain and storm sewer <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of New <br />Brighton, Minnesota: <br /> 1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached <br />hereto and made a part hereof, 'is hereby. accepted and shall <br />constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein, <br />and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be <br />benefited by the proposed iroprovemebt in ~he amount of the assess- <br />ment levied against it. ,"^' <br /> 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual install- <br />ments extending over a period of fifte.an (15) years, the first of <br />the installments to be payable on or after the first Monday in <br />January 1975, and shall bear interest at the rate of eight percent <br />(8%) per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment <br />resolution until December 31,1975, to each subsequent installment <br />when due shall be added interest for one (1) year on all unpaid <br />installments. <br /> 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time <br />prior to certification of the assessment to the county auditor, pa) <br />the whole of the assessment on such property; with interest accrue: <br />to the date of payment, to the city treasurer, except that no <br />interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within <br />30 days from the adoption of this resolution and he may, at any <br />time thereafter, pay to the county treasurer, and the balance of tt <br />assessments remaining unpaid to the city treasurer with interest <br />accrued in accordance with the status such in case made and provid< <br /> 4. The clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate <br />of this assessment to the county auditor to be extended on the <br />proper tax list of the county, and such assessments shall be <br />collected and ~aid over in the same m~;ner as other municipal taxef <br />Adopted this 11th day of September, <br />ATTEST: - <br />'~~~~~~A~~ . <br />Vernon C.
