<br />,. .. .... . .... .#' . <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1399 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> RESOLUTION DETERMINING FURNITURE STRIPPING BUSINESS TO BE A <br /> PERMITTED USE IN A B-3 ZONING DISTRICT <br /> WHEREAS W & C Strip't Furniture has proposed and requested <br /> permission to operate a furniture sUl:;~ing business at 4760 Old <br /> Highway 8 in the City of New Brighton, on property zoned or to be <br /> zoned General Business B-3, and <br /> WHEREAS it is proposed that such business would be operated <br /> with five or fewer employees; would cater to the general public <br /> on small quantity or individual orders; would not engage in long <br /> term, large quantity contracts, and would employ the use of the <br /> spraying of Methylene~Chloride-Methanol which is a fire resistant <br /> chemical which if ignited would fully oxidize in approximately <br /> three seconds; would involve no exterior storage; and would have <br /> no odors detectable off premises in accordance with the City <br /> Code, and <br /> WHEREAS existing permissible uses within the B-3 General <br /> Business District include dry cleaning, having five or fewer <br /> employees, in which no exp19sives and non-inflammable solvents <br /> are used <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That a furniture stripping <br /> business is hereby declared to be, pursuant to Section 8-080 (1) <br /> of the New Brighton Zoning Code, a permitted use within a B-3 <br /> General Business District when the same is operated within the <br /> following limitations: <br /> 1. Not mare than five employees; <br /> 2. Catering to the general public on an individual or small <br /> order baiss as opposed to a Wholesale or long-term, <br /> large quantity contract; <br /> 3. Involving no extel::iorstorage: <br /> .. ,., " ". <br /> 4. Involving the use of the chernicsl Methylene-Chloride- <br /> Methanol, which is f~reresistant; <br /> 5.
