t '" f .;c , ,'-w RESOLUTION NO. 1389 STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF NEW B~IGHTON RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON IMPROVEMENT 72-4 BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota as follows: WHEREAS pursuant to p~oper notice duly given as required by law the city council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the improvement of: Pleasant View Drive from Rice Creek Road to 21st Lane N.W. Walnut Ave. from Rice Creek Road to Pleasant View Drive; 21st Lane N.W. from 29th Ave. N.W. to. cul-de-sac; 29th Ave. N.W. from Rice Creek Road to 21st Lane N.W. By: Acquisition of street right of way, opening, grading, sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, concrete curb and gutter, bituminous base and surfacing. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of New Brighton, Minnesota: 1. Such proposed ~ssessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part here~f, is hereby accepted and shall constL- tute the special assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to te benefited, by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assessment levied. against it. 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual install- ments extending over a period of fifteen (15) ye ar s , the first of the installments to be payable on or after the first Monday in January 1975, and shall bear interest at the rate of eight percent (8%) per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution until December 31, 1975, to each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest for one (1) year on all unpaid installments. 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the county auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the Xity Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution and he may, at any tine thereafter, pay to the county treasurer, and the balance of the assessments remaining unpaid to the City Treasurer with interest accrued in accordance with the status such in case made and provid~d. 4. The clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the county auditor to be extended on the proper tax lis t of the county, andsuch assessments shall be col- lected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes.
