<br />t '" <br />f .;c , ,'-w <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1389 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW B~IGHTON <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON IMPROVEMENT 72-4 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of New <br /> Brighton, Minnesota as follows: <br /> WHEREAS pursuant to p~oper notice duly given as required by <br /> law the city council has met and heard and passed upon all <br /> objections to the proposed assessment for the improvement of: <br /> Pleasant View Drive from Rice Creek Road to 21st Lane N.W. <br /> Walnut Ave. from Rice Creek Road to Pleasant View Drive; <br /> 21st Lane N.W. from 29th Ave. N.W. to. cul-de-sac; 29th <br /> Ave. N.W. from Rice Creek Road to 21st Lane N.W. <br /> By: Acquisition of street right of way, opening, grading, <br /> sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, concrete curb and <br /> gutter, bituminous base and surfacing. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of New <br /> Brighton, Minnesota: <br /> 1. Such proposed ~ssessment, a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto and made a part here~f, is hereby accepted and shall constL- <br /> tute the special assessment against the lands named therein, and <br /> each tract of land therein included is hereby found to te benefited, <br /> by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assessment levied. <br /> against it. <br /> 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual install- <br /> ments extending over a period of fifteen (15) ye ar s , the first of <br /> the installments to be payable on or after the first Monday in <br /> January 1975, and shall bear interest at the rate of eight percent <br /> (8%) per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment <br /> resolution until December 31, 1975, to each subsequent installment <br /> when due shall be added interest for one (1) year on all unpaid <br /> installments. <br /> 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time <br /> prior to certification of the assessment to the county auditor, pay <br /> the whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued <br /> to the date of payment, to the Xity Treasurer, except that no <br /> interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within <br /> 30 days from the adoption of this resolution and he may, at any tine <br /> thereafter, pay to the county treasurer, and the balance of the <br /> assessments remaining unpaid to the City Treasurer with interest <br /> accrued in accordance with the status such in case made and provid~d. <br /> 4. The clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate <br /> of this assessment to the county auditor to be extended on the <br /> proper tax lis t of the county, andsuch assessments shall be col- <br /> lected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes. <br /> Adopted this 8th day of <br /> ATTEST: ,/ <br /> - <br /> e.DjL_~ - <br /> V;:-===- <br /> Vernon C.
