<br /> <I{ . ~.,... <br />;4 _ ...-- <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1384 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEN BRIGHTON <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CI.TY MANAGER TO PURCHASE BULK SUPPLIES <br /> OF GASOLINE WI ']HOUT PRIOR APPROVAL OF INDIVIDUAL TRANSACTIONS BY <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> WHEREAS the availability of a sufficient supply of gasoline <br /> on a continuing basis to the City of New Brighton is in doubt due <br /> to current federal allocation procedures, and <br /> WHEREAS the City requires large quantities of gasoline to <br /> adequately provide its citizen'S with vital services, and <br /> WHEREAS the price and supply of gasoline fluctuate on a <br /> relatively short term basis, and <br /> WHEREAS the City Council of New Brighton deems it <br /> advisable to obtain gasoline when it becomes available <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br /> New Brighton that the City Manager is authorized to take all steps <br />. necessary to secure bulk quantities of gasoline for the city, as <br /> needed, and to contract with a supplier when necessary without <br /> obtaining prior council approval for each individual transaction. <br /> Adopted this 9th day of July,1974. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> ~t!.-) J,w-,-_ <br /> - <br /> Vernon C.
