Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the city council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota was held at the City Hall in said City on the 9th day of July, 1974, at 8:00 p.m. with the followling members present: Bromander, Eagon, Anderson, Fisher, Rebelein and the following members absent: None Councilman Eagon introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION DECLAR ING COST TO BE ASSESSED, ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT AND SETTING DATE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT 72 - 3, 4, 5, 6, 11 and 12 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON, MINNESOTA 1. The cost of such improvements to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $566,510.40 of which $536,667.28 is proposed to be assessed in 1974 and the remainder at a future date; 2. The City Clerk with the assistance of the City Engineer shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, place or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection; 3. The Clerk shall, upon completion of such proposed assessments notify the council thereof; 4. That a public hearing on the proposed assessment be set for August 8, 1974 at 7:00 o'clock p.m., at the City Hall; 5. That mailed notices of this hearing be sent to each benefited property owner as required by law.
