<br /> ~ <br /> " , ~ ., <br />J' <br />. ,'. f <br />.. ,. . <br />. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1649 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> RESOLUTION CANCELING CERTAIN SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS HERETOFORE <br /> LEVIED ON IMPROVEMENT 73-9 AND ADOPTING A RE-ASSESSMENT FOR PART <br /> OF IMPROVEMENT 73-9 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE NEW BRIGHTON CITY COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1- That portion of the assessment for Improvement 73-9 <br /> which was levied against properties in Brighton Square as follows <br /> is hereby cancelled. Lots 1 and 2, B1. 2 and Lots 1,2,3,4,5 & 6, B1. 3. <br /> 2. That the amended assessment roll as it relates to the <br /> assessment for Improvement 73-9 against properties in Brighton <br /> Square is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special <br /> assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of <br /> land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the <br /> proposed improvement in the amount of the assessment levied <br /> against it. <br /> 3. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual <br /> installments extending over a period of fifteen (15) years, <br /> the first of the installments to be payable on or after the <br /> first Monday in January 1976, and shall bear interest at the <br /> rate of eight percent (8%) per annum from September 14, 1975 <br /> until December 31, 1975, to each subsequent installment when due <br /> shall be added interest for one (1) year on all unpaid installments. <br /> 4. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time <br /> prior to certification of the assessment to the County Auditor, <br /> pay the whole of the assessment on such property with interest <br /> accrued to the date of payment, to the City Treasurer, and he <br /> may, at any time thereafter, pay to the County Treasurer, and <br /> the balance of the assessments remaining unpaid to the City <br /> Treasurer with interest accrued in accordance with the statutes <br /> such in case made and provided. <br /> 5. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate <br /> of this assessment to the County Auditor to be extended on the <br /> proper tax list of the County, and such assessments shall be <br /> collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal <br /> taxes. <br /> Aclopted this 9th day of December, 1975 . <br /> ATTEST: <br /> y;-~J20.~ <br /> Vernon C.
