RESOLUTION NO. 1570 STATE OF MINNES:> TA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING MAYOR AND MANAGER TO EXECUTE QUIT CLAIM DEED TO CERTAIN LANDS IN RETURN FOR A QUIT CLAIM DEED FROM OWNERS OF LANDS ADJACENT TO CITY PROPERTY FOR PURPOSES OF FINALLY DETERMINING THE DIVIpING PROP~TY ~INE WHEREAS the City of New Brighton owns certain lands southwest of the plat known as Rice Creek Villa for park and open space purposes, and WHEREAS there are certain lands within Rice Creek villa upon which, based upon certain abstracts, there appears to be a question as to the boundary along the southwesterly border of the plat known i as Rice Creek Villa, and ! ! , WHEREAS the City of New Brighton and the owner of the.,:plat I ! known as Rice Creek Villa are desirous of reaching an amicable and definitive agreement as to the location of the boundary line between said properties NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the City of New Brighton by and through its City Council authorize and qirect the Mayor and Manager to execute and deliver a quit claim deed to the owners of Rice Creek Villa as to Lot 23, Block 1, Rice Creek Villa subject only to the easements described and dedicated by such plat in return for a quit claim deed from the owners of Rice Creek Villa to the City of New" Brighton as to all lands owned by the City of New Brighton for park and open space purposes lying generally south and southwest of the plat of Rice Creek Villa BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Attorney, the Mayor, the Manager and the city Clerk be, and are, hereby directed to do all things necessary to effectuate the resolution of this property line discrepancy.
