" , ~ . > .. .'C RESOLUTION NO. 1526 STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON RESOLUTION ~RDING CONTRACT FOR BITUMINOUS SURFACING,FOR IMPROVEMENT 75-7 BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota as follows: WHEREAS Pursuant to an advertisement in the New Brighton Bulletin and the Construction Bulletin February 27, and March 6, 1975, bids for Improvement 75-7 were received, opened and read aloud by City Administration at 11:00 a.m., March 19, 1975 according to law 9.nd the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Bidder Bid Security Total Bid cAshbach construct~on 5% BB $ 52,809.25 Bituminous Roadways 5% BB 47,706.00 Bury & Carlson, Inc. 5% BB 48,541.00 . Schifsky & Sons 5% BB 44,373.75 H & S Asphalt 5% BB 41,742.50 ,-:l AND WHEREAS the bid of H & S Asphalt in the amount of $41,742.50 has been determined to be the lowest bid complying with bid specifications . NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of New Brighton, That the bid of H & S Asphalt in the amount of $41,742.50 be ordered BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota: 1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directea to enter into the attached contract with H & S Asphalt, in the name of the City of New Brighton for Improvement 75-7. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with th'eir bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
