RESOLUTION NO. 1518 STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT THE USE OF THE PREMISES AT 981 5TH AVENUE NORTHWEST AS A GASOLINE SERVICE STATION WAS DISCONTINUED FOR MORE THAN SIX CONTINUOUS MONTHS WHEREAS at 981 5th Avenue Northwest in the City of New Brighton there exist~d a Gulf Oil Gasoline Service Station prior to December of 1973, apq WHEREAS approx~mately December 1973 the Gulf Oil Corporation ceased its operation at that location as a gasoline . service station and removed from the premises its stock-in-trade and the usual tools, implements and furniture and fixtures ordinarily used in the operation of such business and disconnected and stored the gasoline pumps from their usual location, and WHEREAS the above described conditions continued to exist continuously from December 1973 to the present date, and WHEREAS the only use of the premises during the above described time was that of motor vehicle storage and construction office use NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED as follows: 1. The use of the premises at 981 5th Avenue Northwest as a gasoline service station is hereby found to have been discontinued as of December 1973; 2. That such discontinued use of such gasoline service station is found to have continued uninterrupted from December 1973 to the present date; 3. That such use discontinuance is a discontinuance of USE~ in accordance with the definition thereof contained in Section 2-695 of the New Brighton Zoning Code; 4. That such discontinuance is found to have continued fOl: more than six months as provided in Section 3-60 of thE: New Brighton Zoning Code. Adopted this 11th day of March 1975.
