<br /> ... <br />oJ ..--"';';;~ )0 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1813 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE INSTALIATION OF "NO TRUCKS" SIGNS ON <br />1st AVENUE SE., 2nd AVENUE SE., AND 3rd AVENUE SE., IN THE <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />WHEREAS, Section 720:02 of the New Brighton City Code states <br />that the City Council may designate by resolution streets over <br />which thru traffic by trucks shall be prohibited, and <br />WHEREAS. 1st Ave. SE, 2nd Ave. SE, and 3rd Ave. SE, all <br />between 1st St. SE and Stowe Ave., are residential streets <br />and thru traffic from the industrial area north of 1st St. SE <br />will cause safety problems for pedestrians, and <br />WHEREAS, "No Trucks" signs exist on these streets, but no <br />resolution authorizing their installation has been passed by <br />the City Council, and <br />WHEREAS, after investigation, the City Council has deter- <br />mined that a safety problem does exist at this location. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED By the Council of the City of <br />New Brighton that signs reading "No Trucks Over 7,000 lb. G.W. " <br />be installed on 1st Ave. SE, 2nd Ave. SE, and 3rd Ave. SE, all: <br />between 1st St. SE and Stowe Avenue. <br />All pursuant to Section 720:02 of the New Brighton City Code. <br />Adopted this 14th day of December 1976. <br /> , <br /> / <br /> i:'. <br />ATTEST: / <br /> ~~~ <br /> Thomas F.
