"", <br /> . <- <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1739 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT 77-2 AND AUTHORIZING PREPARA- <br /> TION OF FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. <br /> WHEREAS a resolution of the City Council adopted June <br /> 8, 1976, fixed a date for a Council hearing on the fOllow- <br /> ing proposed improvement. <br /> Location: County Road D from Cleveland Avenue <br /> to a point 165 feet west of Continental <br /> Drive <br /> Improvement By: Construction of concrete curbs and <br /> gutters <br /> AND WHEREAS ten days published notice of hearing <br /> through two weekly publications of the requireq notice and <br /> ten days mailed notice to affected property owners was <br /> given, and the hearing was held on July 27, 1976, at which <br /> time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity <br /> to be heard thereon, and all objections were heard and passed <br /> upon; <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF NEW BRIGHTON that said improvement is hereby ordered as <br /> proposed in the council resolution adopted the 8th day of <br /> June 1976. <br /> AND WHEREAS Ramsey County is regrading, widening, and <br /> reconstructing County Road D from Cleveland Avenue to a <br /> point 165 feet west of Continental Drive; <br /> AND WHEREAS the New Brighton City Director of Public <br /> Works has recommended that the concrete curbs and gutters <br /> be constructed in conjunction with the improvement of <br /> County RoadD by Ramsey County; <br /> AND WHEREAS such construction work can be performed <br /> more efficiently and economically under the County Con- <br /> struction contract; <br /> AND WHEREAS Ramsey County has submitted preliminary <br /> plans for regrading, widening, and reconstructing County <br /> Road D from Cleveland Avenue to a point 165 feet west of <br /> Continental Drive. <br /> - 1 - <br />
