<br />r- , " .- <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1730 " <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING SPECIAL USE <br />PERMIT 72 FOR MENGEL KOCH COMPANY RENDERING PLANT <br />'WHEBEAS, On IT' une 10, 1976 the Mengelcoch Company applied <br />for a special use permit to operate a rendering plant in a Heavy <br />Industrial Zone, and <br />WHEREAS On June 15, 1976 the Planning Commission reviewed <br />such application for a special use permit and recommended approval <br />with certain conditions of the special use permit, and <br />~REAS On July 13, 1976 a hearing was held before the City <br />Council and all persons were given an opportunity to be heard I <br /> , <br />NOW THEREFORE 'BE IT RESOLVED BY THE 'COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGH~ON, That 'the council makes the following <br />findings of fact: <br />1. The application has ,.:l,:>eenproperly a~E;L~ed for and <br /> processed; <br />2. The proposed use is cornpqti~le with other I-2 uses; <br />3. The use is not changed frOm the current use; <br />4. That with certain conditions noted below the use <br /> will meet the district performance standards <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of <br />New Brighton does hereby approve special use permit 72 subject to <br />the following conditions: <br />1. That smoke stack emissions be tested every six months <br /> by a firm selected by the City Wlth costs to be borne <br /> by Menge1koch.
