<br />- <br />t <br /> ~ ,. <br /> 'r <br /> # <br /> .... <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1714 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND DECLARING THAT UNDER <br /> CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES AN ANOTOMICAL SERVICE AIDS PRODUCTION AND <br /> SALES USE IN A B-3 GENERAL DISTRICT IS A PERMITTED USE <br /> WHEREAS International Biologics, Inc. has requested <br /> permission from the City Council to permit an anotomical <br /> service aids use on the property located at 531 9th St. NW, and <br /> WHEREAS the New Brighton Zoning Code does not clearly <br /> prohibit such use, and <br /> WHEREAS the New Brighton City Council has investigated <br /> the facts relating to such request and heard all relevant <br /> arguments on the subject <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br /> of New Brighton, That the following facts are "found to be true <br /> as they relate to the request: <br /> Findinqs of Fact <br /> 1. The parcel of land in question is located at <br /> 531 9th St. NW and is presently zoned B-3~ <br /> 2. That a business type structure exists on the property <br /> and business type uses have been conducted on the <br /> property for many years~ <br /> 3. That lands on all sides of the property are zoned B-3 <br /> and used for business purposes~ <br /> 4. That the applicant will use the property for the <br /> preparation and sale of animal anatomical service <br /> aids for use in training veterinarians, biologists, <br /> and other c1ients~ <br /> 5. T~t the business includes: <br /> a. Preparation of equine and canine bone-ligament limbs <br /> b. Preparation of skeletal vascular casts <br /> c. Preparation of arterial vascular corrosion casts <br /> 6. That animal limbs received f0r preparation are ~rozen ~ <br /> 7. That quantities of chemicals used and waste generated <br /> are: <br /> Sodium Hypochloite 1 gal/week <br /> Laundry detergent 2 lbs/week <br /> Muratic Acid 1 pt/week <br /> Acetone 3 qts/week <br /> Biological Waste 4.54 lbs/week <br />
