<br /> , <br /> ~ " \I <br /> ., <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1705 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> :RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPOINTMENT OF FRITZ WERDOUSCHEGG, NEW <br /> BRIGHTON 'COUNCILMAN, TO THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL LAND USE ADVISORY <br /> :OMMITTEE <br /> WHEREAS the Metropolitan Land Planning Act was adopted by the <br /> i976 Minnesota Legislaturel and <br /> WHEREAS such act provides for appointment of an Advisory <br /> iMetropolitan Land Use committee to advise the Metropolitan Council <br /> in carrying out its responsibilities under said act, and <br /> WHEREAS at least one-half of the Committee must be composed of <br /> local government elected officialsl and <br /> WHEREAS the Metropolitan Council is currently soliciting <br /> applications for the committee, and <br /> WHEREAS Fritz Werdouschegg has been active in New Brighton <br /> ~ommunity affairs since 1968 inlcuding attending hearings of the <br /> Planning Commission, serving on several sub-committees of the <br /> ::ommun.;ity Betterment ,Task Force,; al.t;tendingi'capital improvement plan <br /> 'hearings of the Councill serving as1 alternate delegate to the Ramse~ <br /> ::ounty League of Local Governments, and serving as council represen- <br /> tative to the New Brigpton commission of Enviromental Quality. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED By the Council of the City of <br /> :~ew Brighton that Councilman Fritz We;rdouschegg is recommended to <br /> the MetropOlitan Council for appointment to the Advisory Metropol- <br /> it an Land Use Committee. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk be and is hereby directed. <br /> to transmit this resolution to the Chairman of the Metropolitan <br /> :ouncil. <br /> Adopted this 13th day of April 1976 <br /> ,!\TTEST: <br /> U-n~' <br /> Mayor <br /> ~gci!!:d- - <br /> ~~e{),p~ <br /> 7ernon C.
