<br /> , <br /> (" -. -'" <br /> . <br /> .- <br /> r( <br /> . <br /> JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT REGARDING <br /> USE OF INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO.621 BALL FIELDS <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, Made this 23rd day of March , 1976 <br /> between the CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON, hereinafter referred to as the :ICITY" and. <br /> INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 621, hereinafter referred to as the "SCHOOL <br /> DISTRICT" . <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, School District owns and operates the New Brighton, Bel Air, <br /> Sunnyside and Pike Lake Elementary Schools in the City, the premises of which <br /> include certain ball diamonds, and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the mutual desire of the School District and the City <br /> to cooperate for the purposes of permitting said ball diamonds to be used for <br /> the recreation activity programs of the School District and the City, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to fill, grade and generally up-grade the <br /> infields of said sites to permit utilization, not only for the pupils of the <br /> School District, but also for the citizens of the School District and of the <br /> Ci ty , <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That in consideration for the foregoing <br /> recitals and mutual covenants and promises herein set forth, it is hereby agreed <br /> by and between the School District and the City as follows: <br /> l. Period of Joint Usage of Ball Diamonds. The ball di amonds <br /> which are the subject of this Agreement shall be available and open for joint <br /> usage by the School District and citizens residing in School District, including <br /> the citizens of the City, during the baseball and softball season which for purposes <br />
