<br />, s~ <br /> ~ 1659 . .~.~ <br /> J- J RESOLUTION NO. <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> :~ESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT RAMSEY COUNTY ACQUIRE THE PROPERTY <br /> IN THE SOUTHEAST QUADRANT OF SILVER LAKE ROAD AND COUNTY ROAD E <br /> :?OR OPEN SPACE PURPOSES. <br /> WHEREAS the property located in the southeast quadrant of <br /> Silver Lake Road and County Road E is currently undeveloped, and <br /> . WHEREAS the ponds on such "land ha~e been declared by the Stat, <br /> :~epartment of Natural Resources as pub11c waters, and <br /> i <br /> WHEREAS an environmental assessment conducted relative to thej <br /> land indicates the existence and propagation of wildlife on <br /> such land, and <br /> WHEREAS The ponds on such property provide valuable water <br /> storage functions for the Silver Lake drainage system, and <br /> I <br /> WHEREAS such land is directly across Silver Lake Road from <br /> the Salvation Army Camp Nature Center <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the New Brighton City <br /> ~ouncil respectfully requests that the Ramsey County Board of <br /> :~ommissioners consider acquisition of this land for inclusion in <br /> the County Open Space system <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Clerk be and is <br /> 'hereby directed to trqnsmit copies of this resolution to the <br /> Ramsey County Board of Commissioners and to the Ramsey County <br /> Jpen Space Department. <br /> Adopted this 13th day of January, 1976 <br /> .ATTEST: ~ ~,..t;Y&--v>' <br /> Bromander, Mayor <br /> ~ - <br /> , ~ <br /> ~~ - 2-~ <br /> Vernon C.
