RESOLUTION NO. 1955 <br />"., .--.. r <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA . <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> RESOLUTION GRANTING OFFENSIVE TRADES LICENSE TO BROWNING- <br /> FERRIS INDUSTRIES <br /> WHEREAS Chapter 15, Article VII of the 1966 Code of <br /> Ordinances of the City of New Brighton requires licensing of <br /> offensive trades, and <br /> WHEREAS the City Council finds that a refuse transfer station <br /> is an offensive trade, and <br /> WHEREAS Browning-Ferris Industries has applied for renewal <br /> of an offensive trades license to operate a refuse transfer <br /> station at 1021 First Street NW <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br /> New Brighton, that an offensive trades license be issued to <br /> BrOwning-Ferris Industries for a refuse transfer station at <br /> 1021 First Street NW <br /> ! BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That such license be conditioned on: <br /> 1. parking being permitted only in the designated parking <br /> area in front of the building with overflow parking <br /> allowed only within the fenced area. <br /> 2. No parking permitted in the access and driveway areas, <br /> and "No parking" signs shall be posted in these areas. I <br /> 3. Transfer station may be used only for the purpose of <br /> transferring rubbish collected by BrOwning-Ferris <br /> Industries. <br /> 4. New Brighton residents may not use the station. <br /> 5. All truck washing, service and repair shall be in an <br /> enclosed building. <br /> 6. Industrial Performance Standards shall be complied with. <br /> 7. Minnesota pollution Control Agency and Metropolitan <br /> council Rules and Regulations shall be complied with. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this resolution be conspicuously <br /> posted with the license on the premises. <br /> Adopted this25thday of October, 1977. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> ~ (7<jl,tL.~ <br /> Vernon C.
