<br /> ~ ~ <br /> ,,-. - <br /> .. ~ <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1930 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSmy <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> ::tESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON IMPROVEMENT 75-4 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton. <br /> :lIJ.innesota as follows: <br /> WHEREAS pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by <br /> law ~he City council has met and heard and passed upon all <br /> objections to the proposed assessment for the improvement of: <br /> Area generally bounded by 16A st. on the north; <br /> 13th st. NW on the SQuth; Kari Lane on the east; and <br /> 23rd Ave NW on the west. <br /> By: Acquiring utility and construction easements and insta1btion <br /> of storm sewer pipe and appurtenances on Long Lake Road from <br /> from 16th Ave. NW to Kari Lane and on Kari Lane from Long <br /> Lake Road to a point 200 feet south. <br /> ~ <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br /> of New Brighton, Minnesota: <br /> 1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall <br /> constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein, <br /> and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be <br /> benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assess- <br /> ment levied against it. <br /> 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual install- <br /> lments extending over a period of fifteen (15) years, the first of <br /> the installments to be payable on or after the first Monday in <br /> (anuary 1978, and sha.ll bear interest at the rate of eight percent <br /> (8%) per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment <br /> Iresolution nntil December 31, '1977, to each su]:)sequent installment <br /> when due shall be added interest for one (l) year on all unpaid <br /> installments. <br /> 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time <br /> prior to certification of the assessment to the County Auditor, pay <br /> 'the whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued <br /> to the date of payment, to the City Treasurer, except that no <br /> interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within <br /> 30 days from the adoption of this resolution and he may, at any <br /> ,time thereafter, pay to the County Treasurer, and the balance of <br /> interest accrued in accordance with the statutes such in case made <br /> jand provided. <br /> I <br /> i <br />
