I " <br />" -. <br />'" <br /> ro;:SQLUTION NO. 1916 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON IMPROVEMENT 75-'"8' ,- <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, <br /> Minnesota as follows: <br /> WHEREAS pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by <br /> law the City Council has met and heard and passed upon all <br /> objections to the proposed assessment for the improvement of: <br /> Location: All that property abutting 27th Ave. NW between <br /> I-694 and Palmer Drive; and all that property <br /> abutting Palmer Drive from Silver Lake Road to <br /> Clover Lane. <br /> By: Acquiring utility and construction easements and <br /> grading, sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, <br /> concrete curb and gutter, crushed rock base, <br /> bituminous base and surfacing on 27th Ave. NW <br /> between I-694 and Palmer Drive and on Palmer <br /> Drive from Silver Lake Road to Clover Lane. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br /> of New Brighton, Minnesota: <br /> 1. Such proposed assessment, a copy 6f which is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall <br /> constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein, <br /> and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be <br /> benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assess- <br /> ment levied against it. <br /> 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual install- <br /> ments extending over a period of fifteen (15) years, the first of <br /> the installments to be payable on or after the first Monday in <br /> January 1978, and shall bear interest at the rate of eight percent <br /> (8%) per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment <br /> when due shall be added interest for one ( 1) year on all unpaid <br /> installments. <br /> 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time <br /> prior to certification of the assessment to the county auditor, pay <br /> the whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued <br /> to the date of payment, to the City Treasurer, except that no <br /> ,interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within <br /> 30 days from the adoption of this resolution and he may, at any <br /> time thereafter, pay to the County !l'reasurer, and the balance of <br /> the assessments remaining ,unpaid tQt"Q.e City Treasurer with interest <br /> accrued in accordance with the st",tut.es'su.€h in case made and <br /> provided. <br />
