<br />;;, I , " <br />I .., ~ <br />" , <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1901 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON I <br /> RESOLUTION VACATING THAT PART OF 6th STREET N~, WEST OF 22nd <br /> AVENUE NW AND EAST OF FAIRFIELD AVENUE ' <br /> WHEREAS the City Council has been requested to consider <br /> the vacation of that part of 6th Street NW lying west of <br /> 22nd Avenue NW and east of Fairfield Avenue, and <br /> WHEREAS; the procedural history of the application is <br /> as follows: <br /> 1. That a request from Mr. Arthur Stenstrom, was received <br /> March 8, 1977 and was heard and reviewed by the Planning <br /> Commission at its meetings of March 15 and April 19, 1977; <br /> 2. That the City Council pursuant to published and posted <br /> notice, held a public hearing on May 24, 1977 to consider <br /> the request. All persons present at the hearing were given <br /> an opportunity to be heard. <br /> 3. The written comments and analysis of the City Planner, <br /> the Planning Commission minutes and recommendation, and <br /> all persons' statements made at the public hearing were <br /> considered. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED That the Council of the City <br /> of New Brighton makes the following Findings of Fact in regards <br /> to this request: <br /> 1. 6th St. NW between 22nd Ave. NW and Fairfield Ave. is <br /> neither improved nor used for vehicular access; <br /> 2. There are no plans to improve this section of 6th Street; <br /> 3. Access to neighboring property is available from <br /> adjacent streets; <br /> 4. The easement widths are less than the current City standard <br /> for roadways; <br /> 5. The vacation will facilitate the use of the various proper- <br /> ties adjacent to the current easement since street side <br /> setbacks (15 feet) will revert to side yard setbacks (5 fee1:). <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED By the Council of the City of <br /> New Brighton that the following ,de,scribed stree.b be and is hereby <br /> vacated: <br /> ! <br />
