RESOLUTION NO. , <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING COUNTY PURCHASE AND EASEMENT ACQUISITION OF <br /> ADDITIONAL PARCELS AROUND RUSH LAKE OPEN SPACE SITE. <br /> " <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution 1279 of the New Brighton City Council <br /> requested the acquisition by Ramsey County of Certain parcels and <br /> easements around Rush Lake in order to better control lake usage, <br /> permit circulation around the entire lake, and protect steep and <br /> wooded slopes, and <br /> WHEREAS Resolution 76-1064 of the Ramsey County Board <br /> approved said additional acquisition, and <br /> WHEREAS Chapter 950, 1971 Laws of Minnesota requires city <br /> approval of lands to be acquired for County open space <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of <br /> New Brighton, ~hat the Ramsey County proposal to acquire the <br /> below described property for County Open Space is hereby approved: <br /> Parcell: That part of the North Half of the Southeast <br /> Quarter of Section 17, Township 30, Range 23, Ramsey County, <br /> Minnesota, lying southerly and easterly of the united stateS' <br /> of America railroad right-of-way, and westerly of a line <br /> described:as commencing at a point on the east line of said <br /> North Half of the Southeast Quarter distant 495 feet south <br /> of the northeast corner thereof; thence westerly parallel <br /> with the north line of said North Half of the Southeast <br /> Quarter a distance of 1000 feet to the actual point of <br /> beginning; thence south at right angles a distance of 276.3 <br /> feet; thence easterly a distance of 97.2 feet along a line <br /> drawn from the last described point to a point on said east <br /> line distant 278 feet south of the point of commencement; <br /> thence South, assumed bearing, parallel with said east line <br /> a distance of 348.7 feet; thence South 89 degrees 21 minutes <br /> East a distance of 60.0 feet; thence South a distance of <br /> 200.38 f~et to the south l.ine of said North Half of the <br /> Southeast Quarter, ;~:mdsaid line there terminating. <br /> ParcelS: That part of th~ south 651 feet of the east 850 <br /> feet of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of <br /> Section 17, Township 30,Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota, <br /> described as beginning at a point on the south line of said <br /> Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter distant 220 feet <br /> west of the southeast corner thereof; thence North, assumed <br /> bearing, parallel with the east line thereo.f a distance of <br /> 240 feet: thence South 39 degrees 54 minutes West a distancE: <br /> of 104.5 feet; thence North 30 degrees 13 minutes West a <br /> distance of 400.0 feet; thence South 89 degrees 45 minutes <br /> West a distance of 128.3 feet; thence North a distance of <br /> 149.85 feet to the north line of the south 651 feet of said <br /> Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence westerly <br />
