<br />r <br /> <br />----- ..,. <br /> <br />..... ,..: <br />"- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1850 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF, RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADQPTING POLICY STATEMENT AS REGARDS AN EMPLOYEE <br />ASSISTANCE PROGRAM <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council recognizes that a wide range of <br />personal situations can have an adverse effect on an employee's <br />job performance, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS these personal problem areas may involve chemical <br />dependency, family/marital stress, mental health disorders, or <br />legal, financial and other problems, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City does not currently have any formal <br />procedures to assist employees in seeking assistance for <br />personal problems affecting job performance, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council deems it in the best interest of <br />the City of New Brighton and its employees to establish a <br />formal program of assistance to employees with personal problems <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the New Brighton City <br />Council adopts the attached policy statement as regards an <br />employee assistance program and directs that such policy state- <br />ment be included in the administrative code as Chapter XVII <br />Employee Assistance Program Policy <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Manager implement <br />an employee assistance program based on the attached policy <br />statement, ; <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 22nd day of February, 1977 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />Gay <br /> <br />... -1 -7 ~. / L <br />/' I // f - ~.'"
