. ... " \. , '( . . SUPPLEMENTAL JOINT POWERS AGREEf4ENT . THIS AGREEMENT supplements an agreement between the Cities of Arden Hills, New Brighton, _Moundsview, Shoreview, North Oaks, Roseville, Little Canada, Lauderdale and Falcon Heights, all located in the County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, concerning sponsoring and funding the Northwest Suburban Youth Service Bureau dated variously by the municipalities between September, 1977, and November, 1977. WHEREAS, it is the desire of the above-listed municipalities to amend paragraph 7 of the above-described Joint Powers Agreement to provide that extensions of the original agreement shall be made by resolution by the governing bodies of the municipalities on or before November 30 of the year pre- ceding the year the extension is to take effect. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED by and between the parties hereto, as follows: 1. Paragraph 70f the Joint Powers Agreement by and between the parties hereto executed variously by the parties between September and November, 1977, is hereby amended to read as follows: "This Agreement shall expire on the 31st day of December, 1978, unless otherwise extended by the signatories' to this Agreement. Extensions of this Agreement shall be by resolution of the governing bodies of the municipalities signa- tory to this Agreement made on or before November 30, of the year preceding the year the extension is to take effect. Said extension shall not become effective until resolutions are adopted by municipalities with a total per capita population of an excess of 80,000 using the population data provided by the metropolitan council.
