That any plugging or impairment of the operation of the City sewer system with grease will be considered prima facia evidence that Section 24-8 of the City Code, Section 15-147 of the City Code, Article V, Section 5":'4A of the Rules and Regulations for the Metropolitan Sewer Disposal System have been and are being violated and that the right of the rendering plant to use the City sewer system is thereby immediately suspended. The amount of grease discharged into the City sewer system shall be 100 mg. per liter or less. If the City sanitary sewer system or lift station wet well becomes plugged as a result of the operations at the rendering plants, the cost of cleaning shall be paid by the rendering plants making use of that part of the sewer system that has become plugged. 4. That the Mengelkoch Company be appraised that the City of New Brighton will continue to work with the MPCA and the f'1etropoli tan Sewer Board to assure that all applicable rules, regulations and codes are complied with. 5. That not less than two, and at the city's discretion, up to 4 stack tests are to be made each year and that frequent inspections be made by the City Sanitarian to make sure the Menglekoch Company is complying with the City's requirements. 6. Tha t by December 12, 1978 an agreement between the City of New Brighton and the Menglekoch Company shall be concluded which amends the Agreement entered into ,January 25, 1977 by providing for testing on the basis of not less than two and up t'ofbur. stack tes ts in each l2 month period. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That violation of, or failure to comply with, any conditions of this Offensive Trades License sahll be cause for suspension or revocation of this license, and that such suspension or revocation~hallbe considered by the City Council.
