<br />~ <br />;:> ,< <br />.,. <br /> Resolution No. 2021 <br /> Extract of Minutes of Meeting of the <br /> City Council of the City of New Brighton, <br /> Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular <br />meeting of the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota, <br />was duly held at the City Hall in said City on Tuesday , the 14th <br />day of March , 1978, at 7:30 0' clock P.M. <br /> The following members were present: <br /> Senden, Benke, Blomquist, Janecek, Werdouschegg <br />and the following were absent: Non€ <br /> * * * * * * * * * <br /> Councilman Senden introduced the fol- <br />lowing written resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION RATIFYING SALE OF $435,000 GENERAL <br /> OBLIGATION IMPROVEMENT BONDS OF 1978, FIXING <br /> THE FORM AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREOF, PROVIDING <br /> FOR THEIR EXECUTION AND DELIVERY AND CREATING <br /> A FUND FOR THEIR PAYMENT <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New <br />Brighton, Minnesota, as follows: <br /> 1- The bid of First National Bank of st. Paul <br /> to purchase $435,000 General <br />Obligation Improvement Bonds of 1978 of said City described below <br />has been found and determined to be the best bid received pursuant <br />to advertised notice of sale, and the award of sale to said bidder, <br />is hereby ratified and confirmed, said bid being to purchase bonds <br />bearing interest as follows: <br />4.80% - 1979/f,33 <br />4.90",k, - 1984/90 <br />5.00",k, - 1991/93 <br />at a price of $ 435,000.00 plus accrued interest. <br /> 2 . To provide permanent financing for Improvements Nos. <br />75-4, 75-5, 75-6, 75-7, 75-8, 75-9 and 75-10 of the City and to <br />refund the Temporary Improvement Bonds of 1975, dated April 1, <br />1975, maturing April 1, 1978, the City shall forthwith issue its <br />negotiable coupon, General Obligation Improvement Bonds of 1978 <br />in the aggregate principal amount of $435,000, to be dated <br />February 1, 1978, to bear interest at the rates above set forth, <br /> ~ /),~ I <br />
