After due consideration of all bids, Councilman Werdouschegg <br /> introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2013 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING SALE OF <br /> $435,000 GENERAL OBLIGATION <br /> IMPROVEMENT BONDS OF 1978 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New <br /> Brighton, Minnesota, as follows: <br /> l. The bid of First National Bank of Saint Paul <br /> to purchase the $435,000 General Obligation Improvement Bonds of <br /> 1978 as advertised for sale is hereby found and determined to be <br /> the lowest and best bid for said series, and shall be and is hereby <br /> accepted, said bid being to purchase bonds bearing interest as <br /> follows: <br /> 4.80% 1979/83 <br /> 4.90% 1984/90 <br /> 5 . 00 % 1991/93 <br /> at a price of $ 435,000.00 for both series plus accrued interest. <br /> 2. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and <br /> directed to execute a contract for the successful bidder and the <br /> Treasurer shall return the good faith checks of all unsuccessful <br /> bidders forthwith. <br /> 3. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to cause <br /> printed bonds to be prepared substantially in the form of said bonds <br /> presented to this meeting. <br /> 4. The City Council shall meet on March 14 , 1978 <br /> to adopt final resolutions relating to the bonds, fixing the form <br /> and specif ica tions thereof, providing for their execution and delivery <br /> and creating funds for their payment. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution <br /> was duly seconded by Councilman Janecek and upon <br /> vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> Senden, Benke, Janecek, Werdouschegg <br /> -2- <br />
