Page 10 — December 12, 2006 New Brighton Council Minutes <br />Director of Community Development, Grant Fernelius gave a brief history of the settlement <br />reement. It was reported that the closing on this transaction would be December 15, 2006. <br />She parties will receive a final payment of cash; with the balance being in General <br />bligation notes. Finance Director, Dan Maiers explained that the seller has requested we <br />Z411 these bonds immediately, which is an advantageous situation. <br />Motion by Council Member Hoffman, seconded by Council Member Bauman to adopt <br />the attached resolution authorizing the issuance of taxable tax increment general <br />obligation notes to satisfy the terms of the binding mediated settlement agreement with <br />Walburn Ltd. The Parks, Recreation and Environmental <br />commission meeting in January will address parking on 12th Avenue with the Public Safety <br />Commission. Irondale High School did a project in citizenship. <br />Council Member Ann Hoffman - Parks Recreation, and Environmental Commission <br />Councilmember Hoffman acknowledged this being the last Council meeting of 2006. <br />Appreciation was expressed to Ms. Troha, Department Heads and all staff for great work <br />throughout the year, amidst many transitions. <br />Council Member Sharon Doffing - Planning Commission <br />Councilmember Doffing reported Planning Commission will next meet in January. <br />10.
